It is not the most comfortable thing to introduce myself and tell you who I am, so let me just do that by listing all of the various names I have been called over the years and who called me by those names:
- Daughter: first time by my parents more than 60 years ago
- Sister: by my numerous siblings
- Christian: since the age of 6
- Friend: by a very tight circle of people
- Lady: by my college sweetheart more than 40 years ago
- Wife: by my soulmate and husband (former above mentioned college sweetheart)
- Mother: by my three treasure (one of whom shares this blog with me)
- Pastor’s Wife and/or Co-Pastor: by six different churches all across Texas, for more almost 40 years
- Scholar: by two different universities and three college degrees
- Mrs. Burns: by hundreds of former students from 3 different school districts in grades K to 12 in many different languages over 30 years, now retired
- Minister: by the West Texas Assemblies of God
- Nonna: by my 8 amazing Granddarlins
- Widow: since December 27, 2021, without warning
